UCSB Basketball legend Alan Williams joins us on the pod after signing a new deal to play with the Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia!
Alan Williams, a legend of the Thunderdome, played for UCSB Men's Basketball from 2011-2015 and finished his career as the Gauchos' all-time leading rebounder and second leading scorer.
Williams, who previously played for both the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets, recently signed a new contract with Rissia's Lokomotiv Kuban and will be playing alongside Wisconsin great Sam Dekker next season.
During his time as a Gaucho, Williams led UCSB to three 19-win seasons and became just the third Gaucho to be named to the First Team All-Big West in three separate seasons.
A double-double machine during his collegiate years, many people consider Williams, along with his 2012 teammates Orlando Johnson and James Nunnally, to be the some of the greatest to ever put on the Gaucho Gold and Blue.
