24- Promotion Near the Ocean (Featuring Richard Loza and Colt Busch)


The men behind marketing at UC Santa Barbara Athletics, Richard Loza and Colt Busch take us inside the process of marketing the Blue-Green Rivalry, their award winning internship program, and the challenges of marketing to Isla Vista.
Loza is in the midst of his 20th year working at UCSB Athletics and his tenth year running the marketing department for intercollegiate athletics.
A member of NACMA, the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators, Loza is a prominent figure throughout the collegiate marketing community and a leader within the organization.
Busch is in his second year with UCSB marketing and formerly worked under Loza in the marketing internship program prior to graduating from UCSB in 2015.
