SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – UCSB men's volleyball head coach Rick McLaughlin and opposite hitter Evan Licht will be joined by baseball's Austin Pettibone on this week's edition of "Talk'n Gauchos," UCSB Athletics' weekly radio show.
"Talk'n Gauchos" is broadcast live every Tuesday night from 6-7 p.m. at the Beachside Bar and Cafe, located on Goleta Beach and hosted by Gerry Fall - The Voice of the Gauchos. Fans are encouraged to come watch the show in person for the chance to meet the guests as well as participate in a raffle for UCSB and Beachside prizes.
The show can be heard over the air on KZSB AM 1290. Fans can also hear the show online at UCSBgauchos.com.
McLaughlin and Licht are riding one of the hottest streaks in program history, winning seven straight matches, the longest UCSB win streak since 1996. Perhaps not coincidentally, the Gauchos are 9-1 since Licht assumed the starting opposite position. Last week, the men's volleyball team beat the top team in the NAIA in Concordia before defeating Hawai'i on back-to-back nights.
Austin Pettibone and the baseball team also spent the weekend in Hawai'i, splitting a four game series with the Rainbows. This week, the Gauchos will host Pepperdine in a midweek non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. before welcoming back Cal Poly to Caesar Uyesaka Stadium for a three-game set over the weekend.
Tickets for all UCSB events can be purchased here.
