It’s not a riddle, but rather an indication of where the UC Santa Barbara women’s

basketball team sits. Not just in the Big West, which has provided little challenge over

the last two decades.

Think bigger. Think West Coast. Think United States.

Toss a dart at the NCAA record book and you’re sure to hit a page that has UC Santa

Barbara listed on it somewhere.

Not many other institutions can claim that. Maybe a handful. All are considered

dynasties.

So are we.
