As a junior Bryce missed the first 16 games due to an injury but provided a spark to the offense when he returned playing in 16 games, starting 13 of them and posting a .313 average, good for 3rd-best on the team ... Had 15 hits in 48 at-bats with a .377 on base percentage ... Was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases...In conference action he had a .341 batting average with a .441 slugging percentage and a .386 on base percentage ... Had five multi-hit games ... Finished the season with a six-game hitting streak, going 9-for-20 with five RBI and three doubles ... Caught two consecutive shutouts at UC Davis. 

In his sophomore season, Bryce appeared in 25 games, 17 of them starts ... Batted .241 with 14 hits in 58 at-bats ... Had three doubles, 10 runs scored and four RBI ... On April 13th against Pepperdine, in a start at catcher, he went 2-for-2 with a run scored and a run batted in ... On May 21 against UC Davis he went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored... At USC on April 20 he was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk ... He had four multi-hit games and threw out four runners behind the plate ... Two of those caught stealing came on March 13 in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Northern Illinois ... Made two starts at DH for the Gauchos.

Bryce played for the Champions of The New England Collegiate Baseball League, the Northshore Navigators. 


Appeared in 18 games as a freshman, making 13 starts, all at catcher...Four of his 10 hits went for extra bases...Hit first career home run on Apr. 15 vs. Cal State Bakersfield...Had career-best three RBI in the game...Batted .286 in eight Big West games...Went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a double in his first game, Feb. 22 at Cal State Bakersfield...Had two hits and two runs scored on Apr. 1 at No. 21 San Diego State...Went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored on May 17 at UC Riverside...Vs. No. 1 UC Irvine on May 22, went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a double.
