With less than three weeks remaining UCSB Athletics is pleased to announce that events for the January 27-28 Baseball Reunion Weekend are quickly filling up.
Space is still available for Friday night's dinner, organized by the three-time National Baseball Congress national champions Santa Barbara Foresters titled "Foresters Hot Stove Night for Baseball." The dinner, which will be held at Earl Warren Showgrounds, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and include the UCSB's new head coach, Andrew Checketts and Foresters Manager Bill Pintard. During the evening's events, Pintard will induct the 2012 Foresters Hall of Fame class, which includes UCSB alum Sean Luft (1989-90) and the evening will feature Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle as the keynote speaker. The night will also include numerous Foresters and Gauchos alumni in attendance.
The dinner is value-priced at only $75 per person and just $25 for kids. Past dinners organized by the Gauchos and Foresters have included Tommy Lasorda ("A Night With Tommy") and Mike Scioscia ("A Night With An Angel"). To make your reservation for

Saturday will be an exclusive day for Gauchos family and friends with the first annual Gaucho 9 Golf Classic at Glenn Annie Golf

The Gaucho9 began with the hiring of Andrew Checketts as an effort to provide resources for UCSB Baseball to compete at the highest level. The initial launch of the Gaucho9 has been widely successfully and includes parents, former players, the community and Hammerheads alumni.
