Luke appeared in 41 games earning 20 starts mostly in left and
right field...posted a .198 batting average in 81 at bats...had a
noteworthy series against Cal State Northridge in which he started
all 3 games and went 5-8 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and 3 runs...also
stole 3 bags and totaled 9 walks on the season.

Luke was a four-year letterwinner at Moorpark High under coach
Scott Fullerton ... As a senior he was the Marmonte League Pitcher
of the Year when he went 8-1 with a 1.70 ERA ... Was a First Team
all-county pick, a First Team All-CIF choice and a Second Team
All-California selection ... Hit .437 with three home runs, 28 runs
scored, 25 RBI and 10 stolen bases as a senior ... In his junior
season Luke was a First Team All-Marmonte League pick and a Second
Team All-Ventura County selection ... Batted .396 with 15 RBI, 15
stolen bases and 27 runs scored ... Helped the Musketeers to CIF
playoff appearances as both a junior and a senior ... Most
