After injuries riddled the Gaucho middle-infield, Carrithers stepped up as the starting second baseman...also started 12 games at shortstop...batted .285 in 44 games played...Hitting in the leadoff spot, he sported a team-high .413 on-base percentage...Ranked third on the team with nine doubles...Swiped six bags and scored 30 runs...Finished with 26 walks on the season, ranking third on the team...Went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, a homer and a season-high two stolen bases at Cal State Northridge on May 27...On March 25 against Oral Roberts, Carrithers finished 2-for-3 with two RBI, a double, two runs scored, a stolen base and a walk...Posted multi-hit games on thirteen occasions...Scored two or more times in nine games.

Summer Ball
Stayed in Santa Barbara and found time in the infield for the Santa Barbara Foresters...Batted .275 with a .448 OBP...Helped the Foresters to a No. 2 national ranking and a second place finish at the NBC World Series in Wichita, Kansas...Played in Cuba against the Cuban Junior National Team last July.
