Had one of the best single-season performances by a starting pitcher in UCSB history...Third team All-American selection...First team All-Big West...Went 10-4 with 3.10 ERA...Led team in innings pitched (122), strikeouts (112), games started (16), complete games (5) and wins...Opposing batters hit just .229 against him...Became first ten-game winner at UCSB since 1991 with a complete game 9-1 win over top-ranked Cal State Fullerton...Along with Rylie Ogle, was part of the first duo to win 10 or more games in the same season in UCSB history...Was named Big West Conference Player of the Week twice...Was named the Verizon/Rainbow Classic Most Outstanding Player with a win and no decision against tournament host Hawaii in two starts...Was 5-1 in Big West Conference games with a 2.09 ERA...Won nine straight decision at one point in the season...Struck out 11 batters three times during the season...Pitched at least five innings in every start...Tied for third all-time in single season strikeouts and games started...122 innings pitched was good for fourth all-time at UCSB.
