Big West Names Rylie Ogle Pitcher Of The Week

Senior lefthander Rylie Ogle (2-1) was named Pitcher of the Week by the Big West Conference today.

The Seal Beach, California native earned his second win of the season Friday at Loyola Marymount in his best outing as a Gaucho. Ogle held the Lions to five hits and two runs, one earned, and struck out five in eight innings of work, to lead the Gauchos to a 10-4 win.

Ogle, touted as the Gaucho ace coming into the season, is the only UCSB to have notched two wins on the young 2001 season, and leads the team with a 2.33 ERA.
