UCSB Advanced Pitch/Catch Camp I

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Advanced Pitching/Catching Skills camp provides an opportunity for baseball players of all ages to come out to UCSB and spend time working with the Gaucho baseball staff and current players. This camp is open to High School players only.

Campers will be put through an intensive 2 hour baseball experience that is designed to take their game to the next level. This camp is for players who want to improve their Pitching or Catching skills.

Pitchers will work on the following areas: Proper Throwing mechanics, Specific Drill instruction, Mental & Physical condition, as well as Situational Pitching.

Catcher's will work on the following areas: Receiving the baseball, Proper Throwing & Blocking techniques, Quick Footwork drills, and Calling the Game.

The cost of the camp is $75.00 and that includes two tickets to the UCSB/UCI baseball game at 1:00pm on May 22nd. The camp will take place approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the UCSB/UCI baseball game. The camp will run for 2 hours and be conducted by the UCSB Coaching Staff & Players.

The cost of the camp includes the two tickets to the game unless you are an 8th grader or younger. You must pay for your tickets per NCAA rule. The cost of the two tickets will be $10 to be paid at will call when you pick up your tickets on game day. All campers who are in grades 9-12 do not have to pay for their tickets.
