Senior second baseman Chad Peshke and senior catcher Donovan Warrecker were named All-NCAA Regional today. UCSB went 1-2 in Regional play in South Bend, Indiana, to finish the season at 40-17.

Peshke led the Gauchos with seven hits in the three games, going 7-for-15 (.467) with a team-high seven RBI to go with four runs scored. Peshke had two or more hits in each game, including a 3-for-5, four-RBI, two-run performance in UCSB's 13-12 triumph over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Warrecker went 5-for-14 (.357) with a team-best three doubles, driving in two runs and scoring four. His best game was the last of his career, when he went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs in the Gauchos' 11-10 loss to host Notre Dame in 10 innings.

UCSB's win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee was the school's first in an NCAA Regional game since 1986 and snapped a nine-game playoff losing streak.
