UCSB Scheduled to Hold Third Annual High School Prospects Camp

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UCSB baseball team will be holding its Third Annual High School Prospects Camp on November 18 and 19 at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium on the campus of UC Santa Barbara. The camp begins on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Sunday's camp times are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Any camper in grades 10-12 interested in participating, the cost is $275 per camper. (Includes coach evaluation, hat and shirt)

This camp is designed for the high school player who is looking to play at the next level. Campers will be assigned to a "camp team" for the duration of the camp. The routine for these days will include team stretching and infield and outfield before games. The Saturday session will consist of a timed 60-yard dash, batting practice, fielding evaluations, pitching and throwing long toss programs and games.
