Ford played his senior season at Gilroy High School in Gilroy, Calif....Attended Milpitas High School in Milpitas, Calif., for two years prior to transferring to Gilroy...Averaged 10.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4.0 blocked shots and 3.3 assists per game at Gilroy...He was selected First Team All-Tri County Athletic League and Second Team All-Bay Area after helping Gilroy to the TCAL title and into the quarterfinals of the CIF Central Coast Section in 2007...Scored a career-high 32 points in a game against Bellarmine Prep...As a senior, he had a 28-point, 26-rebound effort against Alvarez HS...Set school records for blocked shots in a season and in a game when he had 15 against Piedmont Hills HS...Ford also set records for dunks in a season and in a single game, and for triple-doubles in a season...Produced a personal best of 11 assists against St. Francis HS...Averaged 7.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a junior at Milpitas...Coached by Bud Ogden at Gilroy and Steve Cain at Milpitas.
