Jan. 22, 2002

Irvine, Calif. - Adama Ndiaye has been selected the Big West Conference co-Player of the Week after his career-best performance in Saturday's win at Cal Poly.

In the victory over the Mustangs, Ndiaye scored a career-high 31 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and blocked three shots. Because of injuries, he was forced to play a career-high total of minutes, logging just under 40. With his three blocked shots, he became the third player in school history to record 100 blocked shots.

Ndiaye was joined by Cal State Northridge's Markus Carr as the other co-Player of the Week.
