SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Athletics Department has donated 300 tickets to its Saturday, Feb. 21 basketball game against Montana State to the United Way. The tickets were donated as part of the "Gauchos Give" community service initiative.
The United Way will distribute 300 tickets to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Goleta, Santa Barbara (Westside), and Carpinteria. The Clubs will give these tickets to children - eighth grade and below - who are involved with their programs.
In addition to distributing the tickets to the various local Boys and Girls Clubs, the United Way will have their table set-up in the lobby of the Thunderdome before and during the game between the UCSB and MSU to distribute information on their programs.
The Gaucho-Bobcats match-up is a part of the ESPNU BracketBuster series and will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for this and all UCSB basketball games can be purchased at the Ticket Office in the Athletics Building on campus, by calling 805-893-UCSB or online by clicking here.
