State and A Bar & Grill in downtown Santa Barbara - the host for UCSB Athletics' weekly radio show Talk'n Gauchos - and On The Side restaurant in Isla Vista will each host a viewing party of the UCSB men's basketball NCAA Tournament game on Friday evening.
Fans who show up to State and A, located on the corner of State and Anapamu Streets, will receive 30% off food and $2 drink specials and have the opportunity to win Gaucho prizes! On The Side, located in the heart of I.V. at 6521 Pardall Road, will also host a viewing party for students who cannot make it downtown.
The Gauchos, seeded No. 15, will face No. 2 seed Ohio State in the Midwest bracket. The game, being played at Milwaukee's Bradley Center, is scheduled for tip-off a little after 6:30 p.m. PDT.
While the viewing party will gather Gaucho fans from around the area, it will also give everyone a chance to win some great UCSB gear. Among the items that fans can win will be an autographed basketball from this year's Big West championship team, basketball jerseys, UCSB hoodies, shirts, hats, Olé bobblehead dolls and more!
Fans will also receive a 30% discount on their orders and $2 drink specials at Friday's viewing party when mentioning UCSB. Also, fans who come down to State and A for Talk'n Gauchos, which airs each week on Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. on AM 1490 and streaming live online at UCSBgauchos.com, will also receive food discounts when mentioning UCSB.
