SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Because of the incredible demand, student tickets for UC Santa Barbara's Friday, Nov. 21 game against No. 1 ranked North Carolina will be distributed at the Thunderdome as students depart the Monday, Nov. 17 game against Utah State, which will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. Any student that attends the game against Utah State with a student ticket, will be guaranteed a student ticket to the game against the Tar Heels.
There are 2,500 student tickets for all Gaucho basketball games and they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Students will be required to show their UCSB Student Identification as they enter the Nov. 17 Utah State game. They will also be required to show their ID as they leave. As students depart the game against the Aggies, they will be given a hard ticket for the North Carolina game. Both the hard ticket and a UCSB ID will be required to enter the Nov. 21 game. Students who do not have both a hard ticket and their UCSB ID, will not be admitted into the Thunderdome for the game against the Tar Heels.
Students will not be allowed entrance into the Utah State game after the second half has started. Those who arrive after the start of the second half will be asked to wait outside the Student Entrance at the Thunderdome, and if any tickets remain they will be distributed to those waiting in line. If tickets remain following the distribution at the Utah State game, they will be available at the Ticket Office in the Intercollegiate Athletics Building on campus beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
