Chris Devine led the UCSB men's basketball team to road wins at Montana State and UNLV last week. On Nov. 13, Devine scored eight of the Gauchos first 10 points as they piled-up a 19-1 lead over Montana State. He finished with 12 points, five rebounds and one assist as UCSB posted an 88-56 win. Devine also made 6-of-8 shots from the field against the Bobcats.
On Friday night, Devine made 10-of-15 field goal attempts, including a three-pointer, and scored 25 points as UCSB won at UNLV, 79-76. He also led the Gauchos with six rebounds in the win.
The victory over the Runnin' Rebels gave UCSB a 3-0 record, their first 3-0 record since the 1994-95 season. It was also the Gauchos' first win at UNLV since January of 1988.
For the week, Devine averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while making 16-of-23 shots from the field, 69.6%.
