Junior Alex Harris scored 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one blocked shot and a steal, to help UCSB hand Fresno State its first loss of the season, 70-42 on Dec. 6.

Harris, who leads the Big West Conference in scoring average at 22.6 points per game, had 13 of his 18 points in the first half as the Gauchos built a 10-point lead. For the game, he made 3-of-5 shots from three-point range. His total of eight rebounds was a season-high.

The win improved UCSB's record to 6-2, its best start since the 2001-02 season.
