UCSB vs. UCLA Fan Advisory: Gates to Open Early, Traffic Advisory
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - In anticipation of a large crowd on Friday, the Harder Stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m. – an hour and a half prior to the 6 p.m. kickoff – for the FOX Soccer Channel televised match between No. 3 UC Santa Barbara and No. 12 UCLA.
The first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a free foam finger courtesy of the night's game sponsor, Montecito Bank & Trust.
Fans planning on attending tomorrow evening's match-up that would normally use Storke Road to access campus are advised to use an alternate route. Due to a water main break, the south bound lane will be closed for the next three days and traffic will be redirected to Los Carneros.
Yesterday, UCSB men's soccer announced that it will be wearing a special, alternate jersey for tomorrow night's match. To see the Gauchos' new look, click here.
Two years ago, the Gauchos and the Bruins played in front of a record crowd of nearly 16,000 fans.
