SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – UCSB Athletics and the Santa Barbara News-Press Radio are teaming up to once again provide the best collegiate soccer radio coverage in the nation, as each and every Gaucho match in 2013 will be broadcasted with full play-by-play from Gerry Fall – the Voice of the Gauchos.

All twenty of UCSB's regular season matches – including and beginning with this Saturday's exhibition against Westmont – will be carried by UCSBgauchos.com. Links to the broadcasts can be accessed through the men's soccer schedule or the listen live page.

In addition to the online coverage, KZSB AM 1290 will carry a minimum of 12 Gaucho matches over the air in 2013, including all 10 Big West matches and non-conference showdowns with Stanford at home and UCLA on the road. The News-Press Radio's coverage ensures that UCSB will yet again have the most commercial radio broadcasts of any collegiate soccer program in the nation.

Gerry Fall will be joined by Santa Barbara News-Press columnist and senior writer Mark Patton, who will provide color commentary for select home matches broadcasted on AM 1290.

The KZSB broadcast schedule will begin on Sep. 13 at UCLA, continuing with the Stanford contest on Sep. 27. All matches from the Oct. 4 conference opener against Cal State Fullerton on will be broadcasted over the air.

In addition to radio coverage, UCSB soccer fans will be able to access live streaming – with video and full audio play-by-play – of all home matches and away conference matches through the Big West website. Links to Bigwest.tv will be provided on the men's soccer schedule when they are made available.

Head Coach Tim Vom Steeg will also be making regular appearances on Talk'n Gauchos, the weekly talk show of UCSB Athletics.
