SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara men's soccer team will welcome a pair of teams from the PDL to Harder Stadium this Sunday, Apr. 13 for spring season games.
On Sunday, the Gauchos will open up against LA Misionares FC at 5:00 p.m. before facing off against the Ventura County Fusion at 7:30 p.m.
Both squads play in the Southwest Division of the United Soccer League's Professional Development League.
Players expected to feature for the Gauchos include All-Region winger Ismaila Jome, star midfielders Drew Murphy and Paul Ehmann, sturdy center back Nick DePuy, All-Conference goalkeeper Josh McNeely, speedy wingback Kevin Garcia-Lopez, defender Brandon Brockway, and reliable forwards Charlie Miller and Reed McKenna.
Admission for both matches is free.
The Gauchos will continue their spring schedule by taking on the San Jose State Spartans at home next Friday, Apr. 18 at 7:00 p.m. before wrapping up with Alumni games on Saturday, Apr. 26 as part of the All Gaucho Reunion weekend.
