In his first season at UCSB the midfielder played a pivotal role coming off the bench...Appeared in 14 games while only starting 6...The time he did spend on the field he proved to be productive scoring 1 goal and assisting on 3 others for a total of 5 points, tied for fifth highest on the team...Placed 9 shots on goal throughout the season...His top performance came in a 6-0 win over Sacramento State in which he scored 1 goal off 3 shots and tallied 1 assist coming off the bench.

Anthony Dimech played his first two seasons at Cal Poly...As a sophomore, he led the Mustangs in scoring with eight goals and four assists for 20 points...Scored a three-goal hat trick against nationally-ranked Cal State Fullerton...As a freshman, he had two goals and two assists for six points.

High School Dimech attended Burlingame High School where he played forward and midfield...In his senior season, he led the team with 24 goals and eight assists for 56 points...He was a three-time All-Peninsula Athletic League choice and as a senior, he was named All-CIF Central Coast Section after leading his school to the CCS championship...Played forward and midfield in high school...Coached by Dan Rosaia.
