2006: His personal goal for the season is to help UCSB win a national
championship.
2005: In his first season as the Gauchos starting keeper,
Reynish played every one of a possible 1969:19 minutes between the pipes and
garnered Second Team All-Big West honors for his performance...Led the Big
West Conference with nine shutouts in 2005, which is the third highest
season total in UCSB history...Also recorded the fifth lowest mark in program
history with a league-best 0.87 goals against average...He is currently the
Gauchos¹ all-time leader in career goals against average at 0.75 and ranks
seventh all-time with 11 career complete game shutouts...Has also cracked the
all-time top 10 with 32 matches and 2396 minutes played in his
career...Finished second among BWC keepers with a .774 save percentage...Tallied
a season-high seven saves against Virginia (9/4) and finished with 65 on the
year...Posted back-to-back shutouts against UC Irvine (11/12) to wrap up
conference play before blanking San Diego State 2-0 in the opening round of
the NCAA Tournament (11/22).
2004: Spending his second season as a back-up
to All-American Dan Kennedy, Reynish performed superbly in the four matches
in which he appeared...Made a pair of back-to-back starts against UC Irvine
(10/21) and Cal Poly (10/24), posting a 1-1 record, after relieving Kennedy
the game prior at UC Riverside (10/13) at halftime...Had his stretch of
consecutive scoreless minutes to start his career snapped at 320:48 in
UCSB¹s loss to UCI...The Irvine goal was his only allowed in 225 minutes of
play, giving him a 0.40 goals against average on the season...Posted the
second complete game shutout of his career against Cal Poly, and partnered
with Kennedy for the sixth time on a shutout against UC Riverside...Reynish
appeared in his fourth match of the season when he took the net for the
penalty kick portion of the NCAA Championship match against Indiana (12/12),
stopping IU's first and fourth shots to give Santa Barbara the early
advantage...Made a season-high three saves against UC Irvine, finishing with
four total on the year.
2003: Reshirted his second season with the Gauchos.
2002: Reynish had an outstanding freshman season, not allowing a single goal
in 202:24 minutes of play, a Gaucho record to start a career...He became the
only goalkeeper in UCSB history with a career goals against average of 0.00 after
appearing in more than one match - Reynish saw action in seven...He posted a
complete game shutout in his first, and only start of the season in the
Gauchos¹ home-opener against St. Mary's (9/6)...Earned his first career win in his
first career appearance, entering the match at Michigan State (9/2) in the 79th
minute, making two key saves in sudden-victory overtime to set-up a 3-2 UCSB
win...Also combined with Kennedy on three shutouts...Made a career-high four
saves in 45:00 minutes of work for a combined shutout over UC Irvine (11/16)...Tallied
a total of nine saves on the season.
NATIONAL/CLUB
Played for SoCal United where he helped the squad win a West Coast Premier League
Championship...Regards winning the Nomads Tournament with the United in a
shoot-out as his most memorable sporting moment...Also played on the
California State ODP squad.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Hart School where he posted a 0.84 career goals against
average...Set school records with a 14 shutouts in a season and 38 shutouts in
a career...Helped lead the Indians to a Foothill League Championship...Named
First Team All-Foothill League, All-CIF and LA Times All-Area...Also played
basketball for Hart, earning MVP honors as a frosh.

Kyle Patrick Reynish was born November 3, 1983 in Valencia, CA...Is majoring
in law and society at UCSB with a minor in global peace and security...Aspires
to become a lawyer upon completion of his education...When not playing soccer
he is usually sleeping...Before every game he can be found in the training

"I bring experience after playing every minute in goal for us last year. I
