2002: Comes into his senior season as one of the Gauchos' team captains...Having matured into one Vom Steeg's best midfielders, he will play more of a defensive role as one of the starting center half-backs...2001: Young became quite a presence in the Gauchos' midfield, after seeing limited time in his first two seasons at UCSB, he started 17 matches for Santa Barbara, missing two games due to suspension...An All-Big West Honorable Mention, he scored two goals off of 16 shots for a .125 shot percentage...Known more for his aggressiveness and ability to push the ball upfield, Young assisted on two goals, finishing with six points...2000: Appeared in 15 matches in his first season of seeing playing time for the Gauchos...Led the squad with a .250 shooting percentage tallying one goal off of 4 shots taken...His goal proved to be the deciding factor in a win at UNLV.
