UCSB Goes for THE Record in Nov. 5 Match-Up vs. Cal Poly

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Athletics Department is pleased to announce an upcoming men's soccer promotion where you can make history and set THE record.

In the Gauchos' final regular-season home game on Wednesday, Nov. 5 vs. Cal Poly, UCSB will aim for the NCAA regular-season attendance mark and is providing the community with a special opportunity to be a part of history.

The nationally-ranked Gauchos have already played in front of three of the nation's top-10 crowds this season - including the top two - and is looking to best the university's, Big West's and NCAA marks for attendance to a regular-season game.

The current regular-season attendance mark for a game held at a university is 12,224, set in 1987 when Fresno State hosted San Francisco.
