Placed 16th in the 400 individual medley (4:02.18) and19th in the 200 back (1:52.55) at the Pac-10 Championships…Swam his season-best times in both those events in the prelims, clocking in at 1:48.85 in the 200 back and 3:59.18 in the 400 IM…His season-best in the 100 back (51.47) was during his leadoff leg in the 400 medley relay at the Pac-10 champs…Swam his season-best time in the 1000 free (9:47.80) during a dual against West Virginia…His best time of the season in the 200 butterfly (1:53.11) was swam at UNLV…Swam the backstroke leg in the 400 medley relay (3:19.55) at the Arena Invite, where the Gauchos posted their quickest relay time of the year.  

2009-10: Placed fourth in the 400 individual medley (3:58.02) at the Big West Championships...Took sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:50.89)...Won the consolation heat in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:33.65.

Placed third in the 200 backstroke (1:47.35), sixth in the 400 individual medley (3:56.75), 12th in the 500 freestyle (4:36.14) and competed in the 200 medley relay (1:30.89) at the Big West Championships.

Swam for Bellarmine Prep...Led the Bells to the West Catholic Athletic League and Central Coast Section Championships four-years straight...Three-time All-American in the 100 back and two-time All-American in the 200 IM... Was also a member of the water polo team...Also competed for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics under coach Tony Batis...Broke multiple Pacific Swimming records...Was also named the team's Most Valuable Swimmer...Member of 2008 Junior National Combined Championship Team.
