2011-12: Placed 19th in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.83) and 19th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.56) at the Pac-12 Championships…Ranks seventh all-time in Gaucho history in the 200-yard medley relay with Kevin Ferguson, Max Horrell, and Chris Peterson with a time of 1:30.00, which they set at the UT Invite.
Attended Northgate High School where he swam for coach Mike Heaney…Was a five-time All-American, earning honors in the 100 breaststroke, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay…Earned three All-Diablo Valley Athletic League First Team honors…Named the Broncos’ team MVP his senior season…Earned Athlete of the Month honors from the Northgate Sentinel…Was a Northgate College Scholarship Award recipient…Set DVAL records in the 100 breast (58.61) and the 200 free relay (1:29.11)…Posted school records in the 200 medley relay (1:34.92), the 100 breast (56.88) and the 200 free relay (1:26.02)…Helped Northgate to three consecutive DVAL championships (2009-11)…The Broncos placed in the top-10 at the North Coast Section Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2011…As a senior, he took third place at the NCS Championships in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 100 breast while finishing 13th in the 50 free…Junior year he took fourth in the 200 free relay after finishing fifth the previous season…Is a three-time Scholastic All-American and President’s Education Award winner…Swam club with Terrapins Swim Team under the tutelage of coach Paul Stafford…Ranks as the seventh fastest in club history in the 100 yard breast and as the ninth fastest in the 100 meter breast.
