Graduated from Redwood High School where he swam under coach David Winters in the North Coast Section…Awarded All-American accolades his senior year…Earned Most Improved in 2009 and 2010…Awarded MVP honors his junior year…Named team captain his senior year…Holds school and league record in 400 freestyle relay…Played water polo all four years of high school…Also swam for the Marin Pirates under coach Warren Lager.
