2012-13: Placed 20th overall in the 200 freestyle at the Arena Invitational in Long Beach, Calif. on Nov. 17…Placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:43.09) in a meet against UNLV on Jan. 19…Posted another second place finish in the 200 freestyle this time vs. Pacific on Feb. 2…Finished second in the 100 freestyle (47.34) and third in the 200 freestyle (1:42.80) in the home-opener vs. UC San Diego on Nov. 2.
2012 PAC-12 ALL-ACADEMIC FIRST TEAM
2011-12: Placed 17th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.15) at the Pac-12 Championships…Ranks eighth all-time at UCSB in that event and second best among the Gauchos during the 2011-2012 season…Recorded a time of 10:14.09 against UC San Diego in the 1,000 freestyle, the fourth best time by a Gaucho that season.
2010-11: Placed 23rd in the 200 free (1:41.17) at the Pac-10 Championships…Swam a season-best time of 4:43.98 in the 500 free at the Pac-10 champs.
Attended Northgate High School and swam for Mike Heaney...Was a First Team All-Diablo Valley Athletic League honoree his sophomore through senior seasons...Twice earned All-American honors...Was a two-time Scholastic All-American and President's Award winner...Also played water polo for the Broncos...Swam club with the Walnut Creek Aquabears...Was the winner of the Laurabelle Bookstauer Founder's Award.
