Bouillin, Recknagel Find Success at SoCal Intercollegiate

Axel Bouillin and Benjamin Recknagel advanced to the quarterfinals at the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships in doubles play, with an 8-5 win over Benedikt Eger and Frederik Wilkens of Azusa Pacific before being ousted by the top seeded pair Emilio Gomez and Yannick Hanfmann of USC by an 8-6 score.

In other doubles action, Max Glenn and Alex Johnson were defeated by Jonny Wang and Erik Johnson of USC 8-4 in the round of 16.

The Gauchos will conclude fall tournament play by hosting the UCSB Classic Nov. 11-12.
