Santa Barbara, Calif - The UCSB Cross Country and Track & Field program is excited to announce that the first phase of the Pauley Track renovation project is finally scheduled to break ground Summer 2017. It should be completed in time for next Outdoor Track & Field season in 2018.
New Giving Site for Upcoming UCSB Track & Field Facility
May 09, 2017
While the all-weather track surface and surrounding field renovations/stadium lights will be funded by student fees, there is a need to raise money for new, high-quality equipment to match the facility and allow UCSB's Cross Country and Track and Field athletes to train and have the opportunity to compete in long-absent home meets.
Possibilities include iconic meets like the annual All-UC Challenge, Cal Poly Dual, and Big West Track and Field Championships.
Through a joint effort between the coaching staff and UCSB fundraising department, there is now a website where interested individuals can contribute directly to this project, and to the specific event equipment of their choice.
The link belows leads to the new site, that features live progress toward the fundraising goal in addition to recognition of all those that have already graciously donated towards this momentous project.

Former UCSB Head Coach Kathy Kinane recently gave a donation to the project and is featured in an exclusive interview on the GauchoFund site as well. The Gaucho men and women will be heading to the 2017 Big West Conference Championships at CSU Fullerton this weekend and will be looking forward to a brand new place to call home next season.
