2017-2018 Track

Competed in six meets for his third year. Helped the 4x100m relay at the Westmont/Pepperdine Tri-Meet take the win in 42.28. At the same meet, he broke 22 seconds in the 200m for the first time to take second in 21.99. Bested that time just a week later at the UC Riverside/Cal Poly Tri-Meet where he'd take second again in 21.90. Also broke 11 seconds for the first time with a legal wind to take first in 10.91. Was part of the winning 4x100m relay team at the San Diego State Aztec Invitational where they finished in 41.62. Set another personal best in the 100m at the Jim Bush Invitational to take seventh overall in a 10.83 clocking, good enough to tie for No. 10 on the UCSB all-time list for the event.

2016-2017 Track

Took to the blocks six times for his second season as a Gaucho. Had to sit out for a bit due to an early season hamstring injury, but came back strong for the second half. Set a new personal best in the 100m running 11.07 at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Had a field day at the Cal Poly Dual Meet, setting a new personal best in the 200m (22.04), running his fastest 100m under all conditions (10.78 with a 2.2 m/s wind gauge), and helping the 4 x 100m squad to an eye-opening 41.04, just a tenth of a second outside the school record. Cochran would finish things off with a solid leg during the 4 x 100m at the Big West Conference Championships, getting the stick around smoothly for 6th place.

2015-2016 Track

Competed four times for his freshman campaign. Set a new personal best at 100m at the Big West Challenge Cup running 11.10.

Prep
