Competed in three meets for his second year. Ran a season's best time of 4:03.74 for 1500m at the Big West Challenge Cup.

2016-2017 Track 

Took to the track 9 times for his first season as a Gaucho. Ran his debut 1500m at the 39th Annual Aztec Invitational running 4:00.47. Also set a new personal best in the 800 at the Big West Challenge Cup, taking 5th in a time of 1:55.27. Lowered his 800m time once more at the Cal Poly Dual Meet, taking 4th in 1:54.60.

Graduated from Ridgeview High School. PR's include 1:55.34 in the 800m and 4:18.23 in the 1600m. Was the SYL league MVP and went on to be a State qualifier in the 800m. Coached by Bill Parvianen and Adam Setser. 


Parents are Marylou and Ramon Flores....Majoring in Biological Sciences....Career goals are to be a physician assistant or nurse practitioner...Running goals are to break 1:48 in the 800m and 3:42 in the 1500m...Hobbies include swimming and playing basketball and soccer...Looks up to Kobe Bryant and Matthew Centrowitz.
