Danielle Domenichelli enters her first year as a volunteer
assistant distance coach. She graduated from UCSB in the Spring of
2010 as a 2-time NCAA All-American in the 5,000m and 10,000m and is
excited to continue her Gaucho success as a coach.
Domenichelli will bring her experience and knowledge to the
UCSB distance squad, while also continuing to compete as a
professional long-distance runner. As a Gaucho, Domenichelli
set personal bests of 16:01 for 5k, 33:19 for 10k, was a 5-time Big
West Champion, finished 11th in the 5000m at the 2008 NCAA
Championships and 7th in the 10,000m at the 2010 NCAA
Championships.
Domenichelli graduated from UCSB in the spring of 2010 with a B.S.
in Biology and a B.A. in Art History.
