Competed in the Foothill League (CIF-SS Div. I) and was the champion of the 1600m his junior and senior seasons...Was named to the All-League squad for the 2006 and 2007 cross country seasons and the 2007 and 2008 track and field seasons.

Personal
Was a member of NHS in high school...Likes to play soccer during his free time...His favorite musician is Jack Johnson, and he lists "Better Together" as his favorite track.
