SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Senior Eugene Bradley, the UC Santa Barbara record-holder in the hammer throw, logged a throw of 213' 06" to finish seventh at the NCAA Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Bradley finished eight feet, seven inches behind sixth-place finisher Martin Bingisser from Washington. The winner of the event was junior Jake Dunkleberger from Auburn, whose best throw was 235' 09", 71.87 meters.

Bradley's throw establishes another UCSB record, improving upon his previous mark of 212' 11" set earlier in the year. He has also now eclipsed the 65-meter barrier, as his mark converts to 65.08m.

With his finish, Bradley earned the Gauchos two points in the team standings, and earned himself All-American Honors.
