BYU TV will also offer a free video stream of the match through their website, which can be found here.
The fourth-seeded Gauchos will be looking to retain momentum from their comeback five-set win over UCLA in the tournament's first round. Under head coach Rick McLaughlin, UCSB is 4-1 all-time in the MPSF Tournament heading into tonight's match.
Top-seeded BYU is undefeated at home this season, but have shown themselves to be vulnerable when UCSB comes to town. The Gauchos are the only team this season to have taken the Cougars to five sets on their home floor and have a history of beating BYU for their first home loss in the MPSF Tournament, having done so in 2011 en route to the NCAA Final Four.
UCSB's 2014 season has been one of the best in recent program history. The team's 18-8 record equals the program's best mark in the MPSF era (since 1993), while the Gauchos' 16 conference wins are a new program record.
The Gauchos are anchored by All-MPSF First Teamer Jonah Seif, who earlier today became the first UCSB setter to earn All-American honors since Todd Rogers in 1996.
Seif will set to opposite Evan Licht (All-MPSF Second Team, 91 career aces -- third most in program history), outside hitter Matt Hanley (All-MPSF Honorable Mention, team-high 3.02 kills per game), and outside Weston Nielsen (12+ kills in seven straight matches). Jake Staahl, one of only two players to rank in the conference top-seven in hitting percentage and blocks, looks to be a presence in the middle.
