Santa Barbara, Calif. - Tickets for the April 21st Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Men's Volleyball Tournament quarterfinal between No. 5 UC Santa Barbara and No. 4 UCLA will be available on the day of the match at the Robertson Gymnasium ticket office.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for all others, including students. The ticket window will open at 5:45 p.m. Saturday with the first serve slated for 7 p.m.
The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, April 26th to take on host Pepperdine at Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu. The top-ranked Waves will also play host to the title game on Saturday, April 28th.
All-session ticket packages for the semifinal and final rounds are currently on sale through the Pepperdine ticket office. Packages are $25 and include tickets to both semifinal matches and the championship match. Single session tickets are available at $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-866 WAVE TIX or at the Pepperdine athletic ticket office at the southwest corner of Firestone Fieldhouse.
UCSB, seeded fourth, has qualified for the MPSF Tournament nine times since its inception in 1993 and has made the tourney in each of the past four years. UCLA, the fifth seed, knocked UCSB out of the tournament last season. The Bruins lead this year's series against the Gauchos two matches to one. Pepperdine earned the No. 1 seed, and a bye in the quarters, after finishing the regular season in first place in the MPSF.
