2011: Played in 26 games for the Gauchos…Scored a total of 15 goals…Drew 32 ejections and penalties, which was second on the team…Tallied a steal, had two field blocks and two assists…Had two season-best four-game scoring streaks running from Sept. 3 through Sept. 10 and again from Sept. 17 through Sept. 18…Scored multiple goals against UC San Diego (Oct. 14) and also against Pepperdine (Nov. 27).
Attended Ernest Righetti High School where he played water polo under coach Kyle Shaffer...Scored 88 goals, tallied 40 assists and 37 steals, drew 60 ejections and had a .497 shooting percentage with the Warriors...In 2009, he was named a Ninth Team All-American and was the Pac-7 and Righetti HS MVP...Was also a First Team All-CIF Division IV pick and First Team All-Pac-7 selection as a senior...As a junior, he earned Second Team All-Pac-7 honors and was a CIF Honorable Mention selection...Helped the Warriors to three league championships (2006, 2008 and 2009), an appearance in the 2006 CIF Finals and the 2009 CIF Quarterfinals...Also competed in swimming earning Second Team All-League and team MVP honors as a senior...Helped lead the swim team to a 2009 league championship - its first in 10 years - which he names as his most memorable athletic achievement...Earned the Golden Warrior Award in 2006-07 and received 2010 Scholar Athlete distinction for posting a GPA of 4.0 or higher.
Competed for Santa Barbara Aquatics Club from 2008-09...Helped his team to a seventh-place finish at the National Junior Olympics each of those years.
