Attended Dos Pueblos Senior High School…Was coached by Chris Parrish…Was a 2012 All-Channel League selection…Garnered 2012 All-County honors…Helped lead the Chargers to three Channel League titles…Also competed in swimming…Was a member of National Honor Society and the California Scholarship Foundation.

Sjors van Alphen was born on August 18, 1994 in Goleta, Calif.…Parents are Dennis and Lenka van Alphen…Has an older sister, Sienna, who plays for the UCSB women’s water polo team…Has yet to declare a major at UCSB.
