Attended El Camino Fundamental High School…Was coached by his father, Mark Jordan…Was a three-year varsity letterwinner in water polo and swimming…Garnered three consecutive All-Capital Athletic League First Team honors…Was the league’s co-MVP in 2011…Named El Camino’s team MVP three-straight seasons (2009-11)…Named to the All-Sac-Joaquin Section First Team in 2010 and 2011…Is a two-time High School All-American…Qualified for the section playoffs all four years of his prep career…Was a Sac-Joaquin Section Division II semifinalist in 2010 and runner-up in 2011…Also competed in swimming and volleyball…Had numerous academic achievements including: graduating in the top 6.6% of his class, achieving Academic Block Letter or Lamp of Learning Award every semester, three years of membership in the California Scholarship Federation and National Honor Society – including one year as the Secretary – membership in the National Society of High School Scholars, and being a National Student Leadership nominee…Was a three-time USA Water Polo Academic All-American.
Competed for American River Water Polo Club…Was named the club’s 2012 Outstanding Overall Player…Took 11th place at the National Junior Olympics, which he names as his most memorable athletic achievement.
Nicholas Alexander Jordan was born on November 18, 1993 in Sacramento, Calif.…Parents are Mark and Judy Jordan…Has two brothers, Matthew and Josh…Has yet to declare a major at UCSB…May pursue a teaching career after graduation…Enjoys surfing, boating, spending time with his family, vacationing, watching and playing sports, camping, watching movies, eating and cooking…Favorite movie is “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”…Likes listening to Young the Giant…Enjoys reading the “Eragon” series…Names his Dad, Uncle Dave and his Grandfather as his personal heroes.
