Played at Mountain View High School under the tutelage of head coach Rafael Alapont...Earned All-American Honorable Mention accolades following his senior year as well as First Team All-Central Coast Section honors...Was a two-time First Team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League selection...Also named MVP in 2008 for the Spartans...Scored 102 goals with 29 assists, 78 steals and 33 ejections drawn during his senior season...As a junior, he compiled 68 goals, 53 assists and 41 drawn ejections...Led the Spartans to two consecutive CCS Second Round appearances...Also competed in swimming, earning All-American honors in the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay in 2009...Was a two-time Academic All-American and was awarded with four-consecutive Mountain View High Scholar-Athlete Awards.
