At the 2008 CIF Track State Meet he placed 7th in the 3200m with a time of 9:08... In 2007, he ran a course record of 14:08 at Bell Jeff, and another course record at Kenny Staub-Barnes Invite in 15:26... In 2008 he ran a 14:58 at the Mt. Sac Invite.
