Baylands Regional Park is located in Sunnyvale, California, approximately ten miles North of Santa Clara University at the Southwest end of the San Francisco Bay. The course at Baylands consists of low cut grass and hard packed dirt paths, with a few short paved sections. This year's event will take place two weeks prior to Conference Championship weekend and provides a flat and fast course.

Parking is $6.00 per vehicle. Do not park in unmarked spaces or the City will tow your vehicle. Overflow parking is available next to Baylands at the Twin Creeks Softball complex.

Pack Mentality

The UCSB women are coming off a strong third place finish at the Stanford Invitational where frontrunner Jenna Hinkle put together yet another solid performance placing in the top 5 of a talented field.

Following Hinkle, the next 4 scoring Gauchos finished all within 13 places of each other to solidify the top 3 team result. Kelsey O'Connell, Miranda Ross, Celeste Wilson, Jade Fuller, and Isa Marshall will hope to work together once again this weekend to help the team finish at the top.

Carrying a Legacy

The men also come off a top 3 finish at the Stanford Invite where they made progress towards becoming more like the team that defended a conference title last year. Adam Avila and George Baier continue to lead the team as they both logged sub-24 splits on the Stanford Golf Course.

Number three man, Austin Lay will hope to continue raising the ante this weekend and the team will look to Daniel Mountcastle and Andrew Verdin to bring the pack closer together. Carlos Guijarro and Jackson Bright had season best performances on this course last year and will call on that experience to make an impact on the team result.
