Men Receive Votes Nationally, Move up to No. 7 in West Region

Santa Barbara, Calif. - After finishing runner-up to Stanford at the Stanford Invitational last weekend, the UC Santa Barbara men's cross country team moved from into the top 10 in the West Region.

According a poll released October 3rd by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, UCSB's men's team has moved up to No.7 from a No.12 ranking on September 25th.

The men also received votes in the USTFCCCA Division I Men's National Poll following their close second place showing to No.3 ranked Stanford. The Gauchos compete next on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, IN.
