she went 3-for-6 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free-throw

game, four rebounds per game, four assists per game and two steals
per game as a senior...Was part of four consecutive league champion
teams, resulting in CIF appearances from 2005-09...Saw her scoring
average rise each season she played for the Panthers, from 10 ppg
as a freshman, to 12 as a sophomore and 14 ppg as a junior...Made
35 3-pointers as a senior...Scored 35 points vs. Vista Murrieta as
a senior...Enjoyed career-highs of 10 rebounds vs. Hemet High, six
assists against Paloma High, six steals vs. Modesto Christian and
two blocks against Lake Elsinore High.

Destini Reneé Mason was born on Nov. 18, 1990 in Compton,
Calif. to parents Kevin and Lisa Mason...Plans to major in history
at UCSB...Goes by the nickname "Des"...Favorite movies are "Love
and Basketball" and "The Notebook"...Calls WNBA player Deanna Nolan
her favorite athlete...Enjoys hanging out with her friends and
family, watching movies, skating and bowling...Favorite TV shows
are "The Game" and "The Boondocks"...Most memorable moment came
when she nailed a 3-pointer to send a game into overtime which
Perris High eventually won...Was also recruited by UTEP, UNLV and
