With an exciting basketball season upon us, UCSB Athletics is pleased to announce several promotions for the entire 2011-12 year to make every Gaucho fan's experience that much better.

UCSB will induct two new Legends of the 'Dome as former men's basketball head coach Jerry Pimm will be unveiled on Nov. 30 when the Gauchos host UNLV and former women's basketball star Erin Alexander will be inducted on Feb. 4 when the Gauchos host Cal Poly. UCSB Athletics also has tons of promotions for youths which include autograph sessions after games and much, much more if they are part of the GKids program which is available for children in eighth grade or younger. Some of the great promotional gameday experiences will include the annual women's basketball Pink Zone game, which is on Feb. 11 vs. Cal State Bakersfield, to raise breast cancer awareness. UCSB Athletics will again participate in the Soles 4 Souls campaign and the Gaucho Salute when UCSB will honor its military personnel.
And, of course, UCSB Athletics has great plans for the Locos! As part of the Unleash the Loco program – unleashtheloco.com – students will have the chance to win $5,000 from Montecito Bank and Trust and an iPad2. Other giveaways include an Olé mustache, rally towels, water bottles and more!
