    Gauchos Head to SDSU for First Round of WNIT UC Santa Barbara finished fourth in the Big West with an 11-7 record. Earning a bye through the first round of the BigWestTournament,the Gauchos defeated Cal State Northridge 45-31 in the conference quar terfinals. In the semifinals round, UCSB fell 62-43 to Cal Poly who would go on to win their first Big West Championship.
